You Can Make a Difference In the Life of Our Clients

Support Us

It’s because of gifts to the Aptiv Foundation that children and adults with disabilities are reaching their goals. It is only through the vision and generosity of contributions to the Aptiv Foundation that it becomes possible to provide the level of support each person needs and deserves. Contributions go to funding facility improvements, program equipment, and other tools to help people with disabilities live, learn and work in our communities.

Volunteer or Intern With Us

You can make a real difference to the lives of children and adults with a disability. It is also lots of fun! We support each of our volunteers through an induction program and with ongoing training and guidance. Volunteering is a great way to be part of your community and help others, build your work experience and career opportunities, share your knowledge and expertise, learn new skills, and meet new people!

What people are saying about us...

I liked learning about body parts, speaking up for myself and I liked learning a lot at the relationship class.

My hopes for this course was to get her more comfortable with having conversations with us, but I feel like what she has learned has surpassed that. So now I feel like if she were to learn to how to ride a bus or walk to Aptiv by herself and somebody were to approach her, she's now learned to stand up for herself, giving consent, being able to say no, I'm not going to do that and being informed now that those things aren't ok, You know, instead of running and hiding from it, she's stands up for it now. and that I can't thank you guys enough for giving her that education...I cannot, at all.

Aptiv has helped me be able to get out there more and see what my opportunities are and just let me learn new skills and what I need to know going into an interview.

I would say to a hiring manager that this is honestly a great experience if you've never tried it. I don't hire people based on all of their experience, I base them off of their personality and with someone who has a disability, you can't just put them into one group.
