Are You Looking for Community-Based Support Providing Meaningful and Enriching Activities in the Community?

Aptiv’s Community-Based Day Services provides meaningful and enriching activities in the community. This service model explores the interests of our participants while teaching them skills to lead lives that are as independent, healthy, and fulfilling as possible. Community-Based Day Services helps adults with disabilities to take part in their community and improve their personal skills by providing access to regular meaningful social contact and stimulating activities.

Community-Based Day Services are designed to maximize a person’s ability to manage everyday life activities in their community. Through this program individuals grow to become more active members of their communities, and gain skills to help them find or keep employment.

You Can also Attend Aptiv’s Facility-based Day Services Program as well as Get Other Support Services From Aptiv.

The services will include a range of activities depending on the provider and what you’re interested in and able to do. Participants will be supported to prepare for the lives they want to live.

Activities may include:

  • Community Living Skill Development
  • Social Skill Development
  • Self-Advocacy
  • Civic Engagement
  • Volunteerism
  • Employment Exploration
  • Independent Skill Development
